AN OMINOUS PACT

Scott Addison, a middle schooler longing to blend in, finds himself thrust into the spotlight when he stands up to bullies tormenting a smaller boy named Paul. Guided by his late father's wisdom and an innate sense of justice, Scott's simple act of kindness makes him a target but also gains him an unexpected friend.

 

Through Paul, Scott discovers a group to play his favorite game, Warriors and Thieves. Inspired by his in-game character, Scott learns that true heroism often means risking everything to stand up for what's right—even when you'd rather stay in the shadows.
